Privacy policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number when you create an account.
• Membership verification: details you provide so the directory team can confirm your Petra membership, such as your unit or department.
• Listing information: business details, contact information and images you choose to submit.
• Usage data: anonymous counts of profile views and contact-button taps, used to show owners their reach and to improve the directory.

What is public

Only approved listings are public. For each listing, the owner chooses whether their phone number, WhatsApp, email and street address are shown. Contact details you hide are never shown to visitors. Your account email, membership details and saved businesses are never public.

Who can see your information

Directory administrators appointed by Petra Christian Centre can see account and listing details in order to review listings, verify membership and keep the directory safe. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Your choices

• Edit your profile and listings at any time from your dashboard.
• Request removal of a listing, or deletion of your account, by contacting the directory team.

Security

Data is stored with industry-standard encryption, and access is restricted by role at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't put sensitive personal information in public listing descriptions.
